Middle of the summer. Just less volume. I aphasia a streak of 5 packages all under $100 get taxed and then July not one and there were many I expected.

Canadian Customs works in strange ways. I've been charged huge amounts for a comic valued at $300, but charged little to nothing when I get a $1200 book in the mail from Comic Connect of all places.

 

Also, unless they open the package, you never get charged anything using first class international. If only they'd add some tracking to that option...
