Thanks Bird, I think I understand. And of course (just in case there was any doubt about it!) I was always very respectiful with on my inquiries. Besides what my tone might sound like in here, in the end I know he's the one who owns it and he has the right to value it as he pleases. Damn, I have 100$ pages that, if someone asked to buy, I'd price at 1000

I own an 8 page james Robinson written Ted Knight Starman backup tale peniclled, inked, and colored by Tony Harris. I think I paid $1000 about a decade ago. I am not sure I would sell those pages for $300 each or the story for $2500. I think that what someone else paid is immaterial to everyone but that person.

 

I have enjoyed this exchange,take care.

 

PS The art is off the walls and in an offsite secure location. That is a real drawback to framing 13 pieces of art!
