Marvel Super Heroes Special 8 from 1991 is now a $30-50 book. The first appearance of Squirrel Girl. Because Marvel trademarked her for TV or something. Squirrel Girl.

 

It's time to pump the brakes people.

Just for the record...this is a tough book to find in 9.8

And people have been speculating on this book for 6-9 months, so it's already had a spike - this is probably going to spike it a bit more.

And speculation jumped the shark when someone tried to sell a Foom with some sort of character drawn in a Wolverine costume. That's when it really went downhill. At least MSH 18 has a real first appearance of a character.

Anyone got a print run on that? Those books were krap - I can't imagine they were highly ordered. But I may be wrong.

Agreed. This is not a flash in the pan book. It will only move upwards from here on. The word is out... and there is no way back!

 

It is actually a very hard book above 9.9.

True, but the bushy tail leads me to believe that I can hide an 80's VCR in her undercarriage, and those front teeth can be...problematic. :eek:
