Sorry to ask this question! - how do I upload an image?

I was all set to make my first PGM post and clicked on the 'Enter an image' icon and see that it wants a URL. Do I need to upload a picture to the internet somewhere first before I add it to my post or can I easily upload it from hard drive?

 

Sorry for this stupid question! *hangs head in shame*
