Paper cover books are always challenging for me, can you guys give me a hand here?

If it lies flat, it looks pretty beautiful.

I’d say surely VF+, but since the back cover crease looks like a soft crease it could also be close to VFNM (or better).

I just pulled the book out, because you are correct, there seems to be a soft crease judging by the scan, but in hand I cant see anything. The book looks perfect to me, and comparing it to 9.8 copies online, I cant see why this book wouldn't garner a 9.8 as well. But again, these paper covers...
