What's the longest you had to wait for your books to return?

Maybe it's because its my first submissions, but its been since July 4th when I submitted my 3 books via Modern tier (40 days) & still have not received my books back. When should I start worrying? They weren't silver or golden or even bronze age or SS; just 3 current comics.

3-4 months is not unusual.

If you're talking about slabbing a book, then I know I've waited more than 6 months before.

 

If you're talking about restoration...... I've waited over a year for a restoration to be completed before. That's a looooooong wait.

I bought a comic in March 2013 had it restored, took about 9 mos and with timing I was able to get it into CC Feb auction 2014 (cataloged) and sold. So I didn't see my money for over 1 year.
