Quick question about shipping USPS 1095 online

6 posts in this topic

Hello 1st time shipping a slab. I have a USPS 1095 packaged up bullet proof.

When printing the shipping label online, via Print Shipping label link on eBay I get the following screen. Do I have the correct option selected for shipping a 1095? I noticed the box dimensions don't quite match.

Thanks in advance!

No, don't use the flat rate box option. Just go with package/large envelope and put in the weight and dimensions. The flat rate is probably more expensive.

Ah yes, that is the first option. How did I miss that :face palm:

Saved me about $3. Thank you.

Also, if it's a more expensive slab, you can double box it. Put a 1092 inside the 1095. That's what I do when I want to make sure there is extra protection.

I use this method now for every slab I sell. It's just lazy not to, considering the boxes are free and they'll ship them to you for free. 2c
