I am at 5.5 - 6.0 especially with that bottom front corner

The bottom edge looks 5ish, but you have to judge the entire book, the majority of which looks around 8.5. Just my $.02 fwiw. I'd be surprised if it didn't fall within .5 of 7.0.

Tough to tell from the small scans, but I'm w/Artboy. From 40,000 feet, it's a 6.0. And if any part of the book is 5-ish, you can't go up.

Maybe, maybe 6.5, but Id have a tough time making a case for any lower:)

I see more defects than you, the whole right edge has some wear/ defects, looks like a reader crease to be honest at the top right, small chip out as well. 8.5's typically do not have 15 or more spine ticks, and general wear that this book shows. From what I see I can't give the book higher than a 6.0.

 

I agree that a larger scan might be more telling.
