Avengers Annual 10 CGC 9.9!!! Single highest graded!

One of my earliest submissions was much like this book. I sent in an X-men #101 back in 2004 to get graded.

 

I didn't know much about grading at the time but the book did not have a single physical flaw on it in any way so I was hoping for a 9.4 on the book, maybe a 9.6.

 

Well the book got a 9.8 and not only that, but one of the grader's notes actually said "Wow!" in the notes.

 

I spoke to the graders and they basically said that the only reason the book did not get a 9.9 was because of a miswrap at the spine - there was too much white showing - but the rest of the book was basically pristine. I still remember what it looked like to this day.

 

Books like that are a special find.

Great Looking book Jim, like others have said I'd put it in Comiclink they will market the hell out of the book an make it a featured item a big spotlight could stir the bidders into a frenzy. Someone with more money than brains might be dying to have a 9.9

You might be right...But what he likely paid for it at current ask obviously is a huge profit, of course it could be even bigger who knows?

All it takes is 2 deep pocketed Rogue fans. Who knows? Someone could BIN the book right now, and then put it in the CL featured auction & still double their money. The best is the best.
