I posted in the Grading/Resto thread asking about whether the tape residue could be removed but wanted to get some thoughts on grade as is and if the residue could be removed. Not sure it would make any difference in grade.

 

Love this cover and the book is really a tight copy with nice supple pages and nice back cover.

Without the residue or tape pull I'd think this is a nice 6.5/7.0. With it I'd guess around a 4.5/5.0.

 

.... ditto. The story in this book is SO fantastic, I'd never slab it. I really don't know if I'd have the residue removed .... it's not that horrible. GOD BLESS...
