Hmm. I think this is the first time Archie has done an incentive variant. Previously, retailers could just order whichever covers they wanted.

 

I very much do not like this development. Archie has been putting out some great variants. The thought that fans will start having to pay out the nose to get the ones they like is pretty disappointing to me. I'm sure I would have missed out on some very cool covers if they had starting doing this previously.
