Rusty Staple… What to do?

I replaced the rusty staples in my GL 87 I just couldnt take it.

The cover detached in the process but I still dont care-the staples were crumbling and had to go.

Won't it get worse though?

Just keep your book in a cool "dry" environment, and it can last for ages in the state it's in. :wishluck:

I have a key with a rusty staple and have had it for years. No additional migration since I've had it. I keep it in a dry cool place
