Really liked Dale on the Hulk. Alot! But, hard to compete against those awesome Doom covers from Byrne's run.

I'm surprised that you didn't give Byrne a little extra help by putting in his X-Men run.

To be honest I don't think any of them are up there with the real classic comic book runs.

But if I am forced to choose I would go with the Keown Hulk run. Along with Peter David's excellent writting they gave the character a real shot in the arm at a time when the book was at a low point creatively.

I just re-read Thor 337-340....great stuff! Got my vote.

 

Thor was my vote hands down. Read issues 372 to 382 and it gets even better.

I went with Thor. Still read that run occasionally, along with Simonson's Manhunter series in 'Tec.

I choose Daredevil 158-191 Frank Miller art and story.

The 181 issue is perhaps my all time favourite comic for story.

 

Why it didnt make your list boggles me.

This was a tough one since Simonson's Thor run and the Perez/Wolfman run are two of my all time favorites. In the end, I went with Perez. Could really go either way though.
