Yes, Dynamite was almost certainly responsible for delaying VEI several years in getting the company started.

 

They were also probably primarily responsible for VEI falling into the current owners hands - by making the other suitors squeamish about the long IP fight that loomed ahead.

 

Dynamite completely lost that fight but it took forever,.
