ASM #129 PR

--No front cover...except a partial remnant from the 20 cent cover price.

--Back cover is there, but it IS detached.

--Two of the pages have cut-outs:

1) the 1st page affected is p. 27/28; on the flip side of this page is a non-story page: the Marvel Value Stamp was clipped.

2) the 2nd page affected is the very final page of the comic, p. 31/32; on the flip side of this page IS a story page, but only the top panel is partially affected.

Get & read the original copy of the first Punisher--at an affordable price.

I was sorely tempted to add a third book to this lot--and perhaps tempt a mod on the eve of All Saints Day--but decided against it. ()

So, continuing with the theme of one-of-a-kind books, please check out the Copper/Modern marketplace. An ASM in CGC 9.9 lurketh...

Selling these all together as a trio: #50, 100, and 102.

149.00 shipped in the U.S.

ASM #50 CGC 1.8 (OWW): "Cover detached."...For what it's worth, back cover helluva lot better than the front.

ASM #100 FN+

--Centering: white on spine @ top is about 1/8" and it very slightly increases on the way down.

--Front cover 1" crease (non-color breaking) by top staple (it might be a production crease, but I'm not sure, so I'm going with a crease from natural wear); also, some very tiny marks by the top staple.

--bott. of 1st pg.: 3/4" tear.

--Back cover/top edge: tiny band (3/4") of distrib. overspray; also, a light stain that is lightly visible on inside cover.

--Back cover/upper left corner: non-color breaking creases.

--Back cover/bottom edge: some small foxing stains (they lightly go through to the inside back cover).

--Back cover edge, about 2/3 of the way down: a 1/4" tear that's like a tiny flap.

POSITIVES:

a) Nice edges & corners on this book.

b) Inside covers: white or OWW.

c) Staples rust-free and attached @ cover & centerfold.

d) Pgs.: nice, white or OWW.

e) Front cover has VERY nice eye appeal; I've had it at both VF and VF/NM in the past, so let's go with VF+ territory for the front cover. It's pretty sweet. (The back cover issues and first page tear are what bring the book down.)

ASM #102 VG/FN

--Front cover/bott. staple area: tiny hole is present, along with some surrounding color rub/loss. If not for this, I'd put the book at an easy FN+ (maybe FN/VF on a good day).

--Front cover/upper left corner: dingage

--No issues with the staples.

--Back cover/spine area, just below top staple: printer's crease (3/4").

POSITIVES:

a) Nicely centered & nicely cut. (Somewhat hard-to-find on this book.)

b) Inside covers: pretty dang nice, white or OWW.

c) Pgs.: OW territory

d) Pretty nice edges & corners on the book (with the exception of the front cover/upper left corner dingage).
