Jack Rye Adventures - first ever

Hi all,

 

Recently I ended up helping someone get their comic published (basically served as story/universe soundboard, text/art/lay-out sub-editor). The artist/writers name is Hayse Shouhda and I think he has a lot of talent. The comic is about his own, original character, Jack Rye (the snake lady in the background is his 'sister' Sheridan).

 

The pics attached to this post are of the front and back cover and the first two pages. The book itself is something like 30 pages long.

 

For a persons first work, self-published, it is a hell of a book. Ultimately he wants to have four 120 page graphic novels published... which is pretty freakin' ambitious if you ask me... but everyone needs to start somewhere and his start is with this book.

 

It is a limited print run. 200 books I believe. There are another 50 sketch covers out there as well I believe.

 

The book is $15 shipped.

 

He did get some government funding to help cover costs but if the bigger project is ever to get finished it would REALLY help if he could raise some cash selling the books he has now.

 

I will close this post November 10th and ship from California by the 15th.

 

My hope is that you like what you see and want to give him a shot.
