Just a note for fans of Identity Crisis - Adventures of Superman 636 is supposed to carry over from the last issue of that series and it involves Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman talking about what they know (and knew) about the other JLA-ers mind-wiping activities. Supposedly this is a set-up of sorts for the next big event.

Drove to the nearest LCS, and they didn't have today's CBM. I asked the guy if all the new comics were out, and he said yes and asked what I was looking for. When I told him, he said they don't carry CBM because no one buys it. I asked, "So no one collects older comics anymore?" And this trendy comic fan (if he's even one) tried to school me on vintage comics by saying, "Well, most people buy the Overstreet price guide that comes out once a year."

What does that have to do with CBM?

Rob;

You should know by now that the majority of LCS's are basically only interested in the Modern newsstand books. As a result, they lean more towards Modern hype magazines such as Wizard.

If you want to get the CBM, you would have to place a special order with your LCS or subscribe to it through the mail. Subscription is not a bad idea since you get the mag at a substantial discount and in addition, usually receive it in the mail before it hits the newsstand.

Must admit, however, although the current CBM's are getting better, they are still not as good as the earlier editions done by Gary Carter. The best ones by far were the pre-Gemstone editions (#1-#21) which were all an absolute must-read. thumbsup2.gif
