I received a package with a present and a letter today:

 

The short version: " Santa screwed up and sent your gift via international surface instead of air so unfortunately it will not arrive in time for Christmas. But... Santa knows that you have been very good this year so he sent another present to put under your tree until it arrives."

 

I don't know if this gift is from the same Santa or a Backup-Santa, but thank you very much whoever you are. It wouldn't have been necessary but it's very kind of you.
