What's the last hot book not movie/TV related?

He's closely associated with Annihilus and the Negative Zone so I would think he's under Fox's control as owners of the FF movie rights, but who knows.

Wasn't Walking Dead hot before the tv series? I really don't know, but I thought it became a true fan-favorite and had an organic price-rise from popularity, then the series came later and it went ballistic. Wrong?
