From what the rumor mill has been saying, there has been no Sith Lords in charge of the Empire, but there are Sith Agents. Also rumor is The Empire has been in a non-stop civil war within it's ranks for the last 3 decades.

In Empire Yoda says 'There is another', not 'There are some more'.

There couldnt have been more evil jedis (Sith) cause remember there's always 2.

This is what happens when you add pointless things to a screenplay-it results in logic errors. There was no need for Lucas to add the 'only two' thing-it was uneccessary to the plot.

Sometimes small ships can travel interstellar distances like when Luke goes to Dagobah sometimes they can't like when Han says a ship that small couldn't get this far out on its own....
