The biggest complaints about SW is the cute characters-yet they still keep throwing em at us.

Guess what kids don't need a 'cute' character to enjoy a movie. Mostly they think they're dumb too.

I think to some of us they may seem like dumb (Jar Jar excluded) but maybe everyone else likes them

 

I was watching a New Hope this weekend and what I liked about it was a lot of the C3PO and R2D2 relationship. It could be considered cute, unnecessary but I enjoy it as much today as I did when I first saw it.

 

Speaking of a New Hope, Luke is a bit annoying in that one right? I mean he becomes cooler in Empire and Return, I hope to see Obi Wan-esque Luke in this new one

when Yoda first came out I wasn't impressed. The more I watch Empire and the older I get, the more appreciation I have.

 

this below is a perfect example

If we are expected to love this new rolling droid as we do R2, then they are wrong & will never be right.
