Azzarello/Lee's Superman run...

My LCS has almost all the run at around 1$ per comic (all bagged and boarded, ), do you advice picking it up or even at this price isn't a good reading?!

It's a decent story now that it's almost complete. Man, I really hate 12 issues stories.

and i thought the 608-619 to be at best an average reading...if the azzarello's run is below that, not even the 1$ per comic is worth.

Well, you will be spending what? $8 or $9? I'd say go for it. It's a cheap read.

I like it. Last two issues have really picked the story up. For $1/issue you can't go wrong.

I think this is a pretty great story and nice art. I didn't think much of the arc when I was reading them when the came out, but around Christmas I read the entire arc again in one sitting. It reads much nicer that way. So if you can get the whole run for $10 or whatever, that's a heck of a deal.

Lois was looking pretty good in the latest issue. J. Lee still does some great work.

 

Don't know who did the colors on the latest issue, but they seemed to jump off the page.
