Also, remember that "fast track" doesn't necessarily mean "fast," just faster than the regular tier's standard time estimate. It is worth it if you have "time sensitive" books on your hands, I'd say.

 

I am looking at 3 months (regular calendar time) on a Modern "slow track" submission in just a few days, and I have no idea when I will actually see them.
