  1. https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?Piece=2009913&GSub=0&GCat=14768&UCat=14768 My latest Bob Larkin Hulk poster homage by Brett Parson
  2. As newbs, we all make mistakes, get "had" on a seller not providing all information on a piece, etc. It is all part of learning the hobby. There's no shame so I am not sure why the collector doesn't just own it and move forward. If it were mine, I would credit the piece correctly as a prelim inked by another artist (where is the credit to Mark Farmer?) and move on. I might even have it colored to further distinguish it from the art used on the print.
  3. Hulk 55 page - pencils by Dale Eaglesham https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=2000445
  4. Another Ed McGuinness page in the collection - this one continues a sequence from a DPS I already have. I can't, nor want to, stop by McGuinness art ... already looking for the next page https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1997143
  5. A couple pieces I picked up at OAX from Chris Stevens and José Luis García-López. I also picked up a Wayshak (posted a page or so earlier) at the show. https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1993073 https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1993068
  6. First piece of 2024 and newest addition to the Bob Larkin Hulk poster homage gallery. Love Jonathan Wayshak's work - so talented! https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1989467
  7. Hulk and Banner cover by Alan Davis https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1981003
  8. Liam Sharp page from the 90s Peter David run - issue 427 (Man Thing issue) https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1953640
  9. Why do you need a company to do this? Do you need CGC (or another company) to grade art? Clearly, the answer is no as the "grade" doesn't really mean anything. Do you need a company to authenticate? If this could be done well, maybe but this is not an easy task and a company would need to have extensive knowledge to do this to avoid the forgeries, fake covers, altered pieces, etc. Now, encapsulating in a way that preserves the art? Yes - there could be an opportunity to step it up from Itoyas, etc. ... I could see a market there for some (not all)
  10. Exciting page for all the Rot Lop Fan fans out there - the first appearance! Wonderful page from Alan Moore, Bill Willingham, and Terry Austin https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1948108
  11. Congrats Jay - this was an epic and monumental project - so happy to see you on the other side of such a lofty goal. Do you have X-men artist targets that you don't have that fall outside of the 3 consecutive issues that you might be chasing? Looking forward to seeing upgrades and additions.
  12. My focus was "anything that appealed to me" when I really started. I bought a ton of sketches and commissions and some pages that weren't too expensive. I think my first pages I bought were at a con and I know they included some Hulk Annual pages by Wagner and a couple Freddie Williams Flash pages. After the primarily squirrel phase of collecting, I came back to my roots and pivoted mostly to Hulk artwork.
