During the early 60', UPA produced a series of short TV cartoons based on this

character and featuring others like JOE JITSU, HEMLOCK HOLMES, GO-GO

GOMEZ and HEAP O'CALORIE. Does anyone know if there were any comics,

based on these cartoons, published featuring these characters?

He appears as a character in a Terry and the Pirates (1945-46) reprint book from 2009. The story is "A Final Bow".

 

Terry and the Pirates #6 IDW Publishing.

 

Probably not the same character.
