Hi, first time using this forum! The book looks pretty darn good to me... Only issue is the pages are slightly off-white? I was thinking of sending it to CGC (never had a book graded before) and was hoping to get some opinion from the experts here. Thanks!

Welcome to the boards. I'd say 9.6 due to the color flecks most visable above the "New" in New Mutants on the front cover. That might just be dust on the scanner though. You should send it to Sarasota.I think you have a winner.

And those would probably be considered no worse than off white to white pages, but Im guessing white more likely.

Yes, the chip coming off at the top – as much one might find it a bit annoying – is production related, so you should definitely be in NM range.

 

Pages look slightly off-white just around the right edge, it could still get a white, IMO.

Took a month, but the book came back and it was 9.6!

Sweet, I guess I have good chances with mine then – it’s on its way to being graded (here in Europe, as CGC will be at a comic con in London in short).
