I am considering buying this comic online. These are the pictures the seller provided me. I am concerned with the blue ink around the border. I have done some research on it, and asked the seller about it. It appears to be over-spray for books that were returned to distributor or something like that, unsure of the details. What do you guys think? How much would this effect the grade? He has it listed as VF. Thanks!

If it doesn't bother you and the price is right and reflective of the condition, then buy it.

 

Personally, I would wait for a more presentable copy as the overspray to that degree (especially being visible on the front cover) bothers me.

+1 While I think the technical grade is about a VF (from what CGC would give it) the overspray to that extent is bothersome to me.

For me, it has more to do with the eye appeal, than the CGC grade.
