The two long lines coming in from the right on the front cover are printer's creases. The diagonal line into the bottom edge is a scratch rather than a crease. No spline splits, staples firm, inners perfect. Just a little tear starting at the top staple.

With spine stress, long crease lower left and heavier foxing BC I am leaning a little more towards a 3.5 than a 4.0
