Difference in value between Covers for Issue # 1 and Issue # 2.

Should have compared ASM 1 to 3. Nobody likes the Vulture and that Spidey pose on issue 1 is awkward. I have never been a big fan of the cover to SS 4. I never popped for me and until I came on these boards I didn't know it was such a popular cover. The story on the other hand is one of my favorite single issues and made me a Loki fan. Plus it's got a great page 1 Loki splash. I've always liked the cover to SS 3 but that's a bias. It may look even better in pen and ink. I would take the Spectacular Spider-Man 2 over 1 any day. I agree it's a little more dynamic image but I am a big Kraven fan. I've always found Tarantula rather lame. I would suspect there would be quite a divide on this issue with people taking 2 villains over 1. Tarantula is C lister hike Kraven is a B lister having been a member of the Sinister Six plus Kraven's Last Hunt.
