Wizard World Madison -- April 8-10, 2016

While it got some fairly lukewarm reviews from boardies, Madison is getting a 2016 show, dates are currently TBD. One has to wonder if the TBD might mean they're either reconsidering the dates and/or deciding whether to give this seemingly underwhelming show another go-round.

Well, just cancelled my entire trip after they cut my VIP pass for the second time due to guest dropouts.

Coming up this weekend.

 

They must be moving the dates (or dropping) for 2017, as WW St. Louis has already laid claim to these dates next year.

I went to this show for 2 days. The only reason I stayed the 2 days is because a friend of mine was set up at the show. I was ready to leave Saturday morning. Artist alley was really small and awful! Some of the artist where charging for their autographs. Granted it's their right to charge. They had a booth with fudge, another booth was selling cinnamon almonds/cashews, another selling nothing but Girl Scout cookies. There was about 10 comic dealers and not really any big books.
