Perhaps you waited for the bubble to burst on that really hot comic before buying that comic you really wanted some months back. Discuss what the price was at it's peak and what you could get it for now.

 

In other words, I want to know when I can buy some Edge of Spider-Verse #2 Variants on the cheap

 

I'll start 'em off with something that everyone probably knows....

 

New 52's Action Comics #1 1:200 sketch variant, when it first hit it was going for what the Batman #1 1:200 sketch is going for. Haven't a couple of these sorts of threads been started already? They never gain any traction. Nobody really cares if a book cools, unless you want to gloat about that. People would rather gloat over wins.
