art pages with 'patch' pieces

I have a nice page that has an acetate layer (with additional patch art).

Question:

 

If i store or frame them together, will it damage the original page over time?

Someone i suggested i make a high quality copy of the original page;

and store the COPY with the acetate patch.

 

What company make a good quality full-size copy?

(I live north of Atlanta).

Can i just bring them the original page, & turn it around same-day?

Kinkos says they can scan & print at 600dpi ... Is that good enough resolution?

I can't say if anything will happpen over time, but I store my pages with overlay in the same mylar.

I store the acetate overlay separately in case the ink comes off, so I put the original page in a 11" x 17" mylar, then put that mylar in a larger sized poly bag, but then put the overlay in a separate 11" x 17" poly bag, and then place that inside of the larger poly bag but outside of the mylar, so they're together, separate but equal.

I've got some pages with acetate overlays that are now 20 years old.

 

I store them together.

 

No change or deterioration in that time.
