frankly it looks as big as anything NYC had in the 10 or so years between the early/mid 90s javitz shows (i think there were more than one) and the first NYCC in 2006 or 7(?), although carbonaro's big yearly shows during that period had more comic dealers and comics, but maybe fewer people

I was just thinking of those first few NYCCs. Wish they still took place in the dead of winter, when there's nothing else to do! I guess walking to the Javits in October beats walking there in February, but still.
