at some point OPG "corrected" a lot of the prices in a mid-year report, right? and haven't the prices just continued to go up since then without any market force actually pushing them up? [Did the downgrade reach all the way up to "fine" or was it just G and VG?]

 

I think those downgraded prices were a bit more accurate. At least within the realm of reason.

 

Fact is, in 1996 Spectre probably was more in demand than it is now, even mid-grade copies.
