OWL can be determined by scans.

 

Main problem is centerfold detached at bottom staple. This can be seen in the final scan. I thought maybe the page could be secured but the tears are the same size roughly as the staples, so it cannot.

Has the book been pressed? Looks like the spine was pressed over to the back side.

oh no, I don't think so. Seems this book was notorius for the off centered staples. I've seen lots of D.D. #2's on ebay this way. The staples are centered in the centerfold. My guess a flaw in the bindery room. Btw, only the bottom of the centerfold is detached. The top is very secure.
