I looked up 1st anti monitor on ebay....and a couple listings are billing # 6 as his 1st app...There are also a couple CGC slabs up, but the sellers are billing them as "1st Wildcat App".

How do you not know who the Anti-Monitor is? He is one of the biggest villains in comic history who is responsible for one of the biggest events in comic history.

Do people even read the comics or do they just collect them (not judging, just genuinely curious)?

He was banned quite some time ago.

But there are a lot of people in the hobby...speculators...who have no interest in comics, and neither know...nor care...a thing about them.

I find that kinda sad, but what can ya do?

Collecting comics is great, But I think people should read them as well  

Reading them, for me, is half the fun. The other half is collecting. It's a shame that more people don't read and only collect.

I know right!! How can your username be "thecopperagekids" and you don't even know arguably one of the most famous copper age stories ever!! That's like studying modern Art and not knowing who Andy Warhol or Jackson Pollock is 

As to how I found this thread, I googled Anti Monitor CGC. I was curious to see if CGC labels put a "first appearance of ___" for the Anti-Monitor (like how Action Comics #1 has the first appearance of Superman).
