EXCLUSIVE: JULIE NEWMAR Will be in BATMAN ’66 Animated Film

As soon as I heard about the new Batman ’66 animated film, I wondered whether the lovely Miss Julie Newmar would be involved. The answer is yes.

Warner Bros. isn’t commenting on any of this. Nevertheless, the information I have is solid.

So that means Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar are on board. Now, what about Batgirl …

BATMAN: RETURN OF THE CAPED CRUSADERS Gets Sequel With William Shatner

The animated Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, which sees Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar return to their Batman ’66 roles, isn’t even out yet. Nevertheless, it’s already getting a sequel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this new film is aiming for a 2017 release date. And just to ensure everyone gets excited for it, the film is coming with a very special guest. William Shatner himself has joined the cast to play Two-Face.

Two-Face is one of the few Batman villains who never made it to the series (though Harlan Ellison did write a -script for a Two-Face episode called “The Two-Way Crimes of Two-Face”), so this should be a lot of fun without stepping on the toes of any other actor’s performance.
