This issue has been on my mind since the first time I saw it in the Gerber books many years back.

I'm delighted to own even this much of it. This cover really sings to me.

Nice clean date stamp to boot.

First Silver Streak I've ever owned.

Having never held one in hand before I never knew that the cover (Issue 5, too) was printed with silver ink.

I learn something new every day.

I lusted after this one even longer, ever since I picked up a copy of All In Color For A Dime back when I was a teenager.

Finally picked up a copy from our own Tall Texan, Mr. Bedrock, a few years back at WW Chicago.

Still a great cover.

Thanks, Scrooge.

For this stuff a big scan is def. the way to go

All I'm doing is scanning these at 150 dpi and cropping the edges a bit.

Here's an interesting pair.

Full date stamps, one week apart, and obviously from the same news stand.

The Funnies 1 is one of the few complete books.
