First Look At Lucy Lawless As 'Ruby' In ASH VS. EVIL DEAD

 

Lucy Lawless (Xena, Battlestar Galactica, Spartacus) made quite an impression with a small role in the previous season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and by the sounds of things she'll be playing another badass character in Starz' Ash Vs. Evil Dead.

Ash vs. Evil Dead Star Hopes For More Movies As TV Show Grows

 

“The series will force us to make more movies. “ Campbell stated “We need eight more movies…making a fourth would work.”

 

Sam Raimi, who directed the original ‘Dead’ cult classic movies said he’d have no problem directing more ‘Dead’ projects for the franchaise if Campbell was signed to it.

 

Campbell promises much more blood and gore in the televised version of the film series.

 

“I went blind the other day shooting a scene.” He jokes “Take a shower and open your eyes…that’s how much blood there is on the show.”

Looks like Bruce needed a zombie warmup before The Evil Dead. Undead John Malkovich!
