I'm going to list about 25 Silver age and 100 Golden GA DC comics in this thread. All very nice books with good eye appeal. All are raw, some belonging to my GF and most belonging to me.

 

First in the thread wins. But, I will entertain PM offers on books in the order they are received.

 

I'll pay for US based shipping on orders over $100. Non US buyers we can work out something amenable. Small orders its $3 per comic and .25c for each additional book.

 

Payment is preferred by check or money order, but if you want to use PayPal, that's fine too

SA#8--Giant Batman Annual #4 & #6. Selling these as a pair. Both Solid low to mid grade copies. Nice colors and nice pages. Take them both home for $15 for the pair.

SA#9--Conan #9 & Conan King Size Annual #3. The conan #9 is nice but has spine split in lower corner about 1 inch. Other than that a nice solid copy. The King size annual is in very high grade. They both belong to my GF, take them both for $10 as a pair.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SA#10--Daredevil #27. This is a nice Spidey appearance. Its in like 3.5-4.0 condition with wear and tear but no major damage. Just the staple pulls on inside cover. Nice yellow cover. Take this home for $5. :news:sold

 

 

 

 

SA#11--Hawkman #18. This is a nice solid VG 4.0 or higher copy. Nice colors and nice page quality. Also belongs to my gf, $3 takes this book home.

 

 

 

 

SA#12--Justice League Of America #59. This is a Solid 6.5-7.0 copy. Cover is gorgeous and bright with a cool value stamp towards bottom left of the cover. Only flaw i see is the lower staple, looks like a restaple to me. Taking that staple into account this is only flaw i see. If that wasn't there this would be in the 8.5-9.0 range. Take this comic belonging to my gf for $15.

 

 

 

 

SA#13--Justice League Of America #57. This is a Solid 8.0-9.0 copy. Cover is gorgeous and bright with a very few spine ticks. Only flaw i see is a little scuff at top cover near "DC". If that wasn't there this would be in the 9.0-9.4 range. Take this comic belonging to my gf for $10. :news:Sold

 

 

 

 

SA#14--Justice League Of America #100. Nice solid Copy in the 7.0 range. Just small spine split at the bottom. Gorgeous colors and very crisp. Love Santa laying in the snow on this cover. Take this beauty home for $10.

 

 

 

 

SA15--Superboy #115.This is a gorgeous High Grade copy of this book. I would put this in the 8.5+ range. Other than some cover dirt this comic is in very nice shape. Take this home for $15.

 

 

 

 

GA#1--Classics Illustrated #3(HRN-60). This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 6.5-7.0 range. It has beautiful bright colors with great details. Not an easy book to find in high grade. Only flaws are a small hole on the "C" in Classics and some tanning dust shadow on back cover. You can take this GA beauty for $20.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GA#2--Classics Illustrated #4(HRN-64). This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 6.0 range. It has beautiful bright colors with great details. It has a chip in top right corner and a dust shadow along the front right side. Also some tanning back cover and a small chip as well. You can take this GA beauty for $14.

 

 

 

 

 

GA#3--Classics Illustrated #5(HRN-60). This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 6.0 range. It has beautiful bright colors with great details. It has a chip in top left on back cover and a dust shadow along the front right side and back left. Also some tanning back cover. You can take this GA beauty for $18.

 

 

 

 

 

GA#4--Classics Illustrated #7(HRN-64). This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 8.0 range. These are not easy to find and especially in this type of shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. The cover also has beautiful bright colors with great details. Only flaws are a tiny chip at the top and bottom of the spine. GA#5--Classics Illustrated #8(HRN-64).RARE. This is my favorite Classics Illustrated cover of all time. This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 7.5 to 8.0 range. These are not easy to find and especially in this type of shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. The cover also has beautiful bright colors with great details. Only flaws are a tiny chip at the top of the spine and a tiny scuff at the bottom. You can take this GA beauty for $90.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GA#6--Classics Illustrated #9(HRN-51). This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 6.0 range. These are not easy to find and especially in this type of shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. The cover also has beautiful bright colors with great details. Only flaws are a staple pull top staple, chip top left corner, tiny hole bottom of spine 3/4 of the way down, tanning back cover and a couple chips on the back cover. GA#6--Classics Illustrated #10(HRN-64). This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 5.5 to 6.0 range. These are not easy to find and especially in this type of shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. The cover also has beautiful bright colors with great details. Only flaws are a dust shadow front cover all around the border, small chip bottom right corner, small chip top right corner. All in all a nice solid copy. You can take this GA beauty for

GA#7--Classics Comics #11(HRN-28). Another of my favorite all time covers and very hard to find. This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 5.5 to 6.0 range. These are not easy to find and especially in this type of shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. The cover also has beautiful bright colors with great details. Only flaws are tears on back cover as seen in pics, some marvel chipping at the top of the cover and a small tear top left corner. All in all a nice solid copy. GA#8--Classics Illustrated #12(HRN-60). Another of my favorite all time covers and very hard to find. This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 6.5 or higher range. These are not easy to find and especially in this type of shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. The cover also has beautiful bright colors with great details. GA#9--Classics Comics #17(HRN-28). This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 4.0 to 4.5 range. These are not easy to find and especially in this type of shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. The cover also has beautiful bright colors with great details. Only flaws are the spine roll, tanning along the spine with one piece of tape, 2 inch spine split along the bottom. All in all a nice solid lower grade copy. GA#10--Classics Comics #20(HRN-28). This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1940's. I would put this beauty in the 8.0 to 8.5 range. These are not easy to find and especially in this type of shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. The cover also has beautiful bright colors with great details. Only flaws are slight tanning along the spine and small scuff bottom right corner. GA#11--Dudley #2. This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1949. I would put this beauty in the 6.0 to 6.5 range. These are not easy to find and especially in nice shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. Only flaws are staple pull from bottom staple and 1/4 spine split top of spine. All in all a nice solid mid grade copy. GA#12--BOY Comics #90. This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1953. I would put this beauty in the 6.0 range. These are not easy to find and especially in nice shape. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. Only flaws are the crease down the middle of the cover, doesn't seem to be sub crease it doesn't pass cover into interior pages. Also a dust shadow on the right side of the border and slight scuff on the top and bottom of the comics. All in all a nice solid mid grade copy. You can take this GA beauty for $35.

 

 

 

 

GA#13--Terry And The Pirates #5. This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1947. I would put this beauty in the 4.5 range or so. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. Only flaw i see is the tape all along the spine. Its from the time period and is well done. Book is very sharp. To be safe I'm assigning it a low grade. GA#14--Terry And The Pirates #9. This is a gorgeous copy from the late 1947. I would put this beauty in the 6.0 range or so. This book would grade very high if not for the two pieces of tape on spine. I also love the arrival stamp on the cover give it character. Still very solid and gorgeous copy at a reasonable price. Interior pages are sharp with gorgeous bright colors. Only flaw i see is the tape all along the spine. Its from the time period and is well done. Book is very sharp.
