Caught up in a dilemma.

This Friday I will be attending the first ever Atlantic City Boardwalk Comic Con. I am bringing the family to this event so I won't be hitting the Blackjack tables at Ceasars.....lol but I did manage to get complimentary rooms for that weekend so I'm happy about not having to spend money on that and use it for AC/BC.

I purposely missed Wizard World Philly this year which I attend every year in order to attend the show in Atlantic City even though it meant missing out on getting signatures from one of my all time favorite Punisher artists Mike Zeck but I weighed the option and said to myself that having a Photo Op and signature from Stan Lee will be much more worth it which I purchased off the website. I already have his signatures on my other books which is great but I had them all signed through an outside company that submitted my books to him for me and that's great and everything but it's just not the same as meeting him in person.

So here is my Dilemma in which I need my fellow CGC'ers to help me with and that is which Amazing Spider-man issue I want to have signed by him because I just can't decide which one to give him. Being that I have every issue of Amazing spider-man from #1 till now it's hard to decide which one I want to present to him for signing. I have considered giving him my ASM #129 or My #121 but I still can't decide so I am relying on you to help me figure it out and I will be tallying your votes.

Thanks for reading.

It's gonna come down to which issue would mean the most to you with Stan's sig on it. Personally, I like issue 16 with Daredevil. Great cover and its the first Daredevil crossover. I would preserve issue 1 unblemished with the universal label. I also might choose issue 71 cause I love the Quicksilver cover. Then again there is issue 92 with Iceman and that yellow label would look great with that yellow cover. Dang this is hard! I like issue 121, but I would stick with an issue that Stan actually wrote. Good luck! Look forward to hearing about your trip.

First, I think I'd do one which he actually wrote.

Second I'd do one that has a good open space for him to his sig comfortably and aesthetically.

Third, I'd consider grade. Probably wouldn't do a 9.8. Probably a nice presenting comic from 8.0-9.2.

Fourth I think I'd consider one that has some relevance to me personally.

22 has some good space, as does 29 on the bottom. 50 has plenty of room as is a key heartfelt issue that has a lot of significance to a lot of collectors.

DBoy,

I concur with most of the sentiments above like having him sign one that he wrote, one that isn't in flawless shape and one that is also meaningful to you. In my recent encounter with Stan at ECCC, I chose to have him sign a mid-grade ASM 50, I love the cover and story in that one and I have an interesting story about how I got it. Good Luck.

P.S. That's amazing that you have every ASM, I envy you.
