Pedigree Comics' Special Canarsie Collection Grand Auction is Underway!

Pedigree Comics’ Canarsie Collection Grand Auction is underway. The auction began on the night on Monday, May 11th and lasts for ten (10) days until the night of Thursday, May 21st as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website (www.PedigreeComics.com). The first lot will end beginning at 7:32 P.M. EST (80 Page Giant #8 9.6) and the last lot will end at 11:59 P.M. EST (X-Men Annual #1 9.2). There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and every item has no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and there is no minimum bid for this special Canarsie Collection Auction. The starting bid on each lot is only $1. You can view and bid on all 699 ultra high grade CGC certified comic books right now in the Auction Listing. The Canarsie Collection is a consignment of over 650 comic books that we acquired at the end of 2014. All of the books were sent to the CGC for grading and the results have been spectacular. Most of the books from the consignment were purchased at the now defunct Canarsie Comics shop in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn, New York (hence the nickname “Canarsie Collection”). The collection features deep runs of the following mainstream Silver into Bronze Age Marvel titles: Amazing Spider-Man; Avengers; Captain America; Daredevil; Fantastic Four; Incredible Hulk; Iron Man and Journey Into Mystery/Thor. The collection also consists of smaller groups of issues from Captain Marvel; Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD; Silver Surfer; Tales to Astonish and X-Men. The average grade of the books is 9.2 to 9.4 but there are many 9.6 and 9.8 examples. Almost every book has either off-white to white or white page quality and immaculate structure.
