Any chance DC will Include Digital with Books??

I am really liking being able to read the books I buy at my LCS on my Nexus pad using the Marvel digital code. Has anyone heard if DC might do the same??

You mean the combo packs?

On a Marvel book...you get a digital code and can use that to read the book on your mobile device or on the computer. DC is not doing that.

Soon, as the publishers try to get more of us to go digital, they will all be offered that way. They will include it like Marvel does for free, then they will offer a digital subscription for less than the paper version, saving them big bucks with no real expenses for distribution or materials. This, of course, will be the beginning of the end of the LCS, and collecting, as we know it.

I am really surprised that DC has not offered an alternative to combo packs. There are so many people who like the Marvel way and would be open to a different alternative from DC. I bought combo packs on a regular basis and am not sure if I would rather buy the book or go digital if I had the choice.
