To Franken-Flash or not?

I just picked up a nice looking Flash 137 on e-bay for $6, a Fine plus except for missing the toy coupon on the BC.

Recently I won a different one that was an apparent VG except some insufficiently_thoughtful_person trimmed all the inside margins,leaving only the story pages.

I'm thinking of splicing the coupon off the latter and attaching it to the first one. Wouldn't damage the trimmed one any more but would improve the other.

OS Grading Guide for 3.0s allows both tape and amatuer repairs.Guide price for a 3.0 is around $50 and it would be one of the better 3.0s I've seen.

Thoughts? At what pont does amatuer repair become restoration?
