Awesome Con (Washington DC) - Short Con Report

Yesterday I went to Awesome con for a few hours. I hadn't planned to go due to a work conflict. But that meeting got rescheduled so I had the afternoon free. I decided to go for a couple hours since the DC Convention Center is just a few blocks from my office.

 

The con opened at 12 noon. I expected huge crowds, like WW Philly. But when I arrived around 1230 there were no lines. I walked right up to the ticket counter, bought my 1 day pass ($35), then walked into the dealer room (again no lines). At that moment on early Friday afternoon, the con had sparse crowds.
