chrisco37
Ah for those more carefree days when no one thought twice about the Teacher seeing a High School student ( as long as she was the age of consent). I know, right? I was thinking the other day about old songs that fall into the same category (OK back then, not so much now). Songs like "Sixteen Candles", "You're Sixteen (you're beautiful...)". The guy that sang the most famous version of "You're sixteen..." was like 25 or 26 when that song was released.

MusterMark
Ah, but there is balance in the universe. No dark, without light. Darth Vader had his Obi Wan - DC had Charlton. What's that, you say? Charlton?? Those low page rate, blue collar Derby, Ct. goombahs? Yeh, strangely enough, these Italian guys turned out to be the Lightbringers. They were a happy crew and it shined through the books. I want a man! I hope to get a man! We're gonna get married in the Chapel of Love! Take a look, contrast this Sweethearts to the DC book: But hope is a double-edged sword, Doc. Within hope lies both an acknowledgment of suffering and a resistance to accepting responsibility.
MusterMark
I must say, Doc, that with your series of contrasting DCs and Charltons (including, but not limited to, the above 2 comics), you seem to have seriously outdone even yourself (which I didn't think was possible). Stevenrams
But just when I think I've got this whole thing figured out - they change it up on me! I guess it's the Circle of Life! Charlton's bringing the pain while DC's got the hope and change - and a mighty uplifting back cover too, I might add Hey, Dr. Love, my friend. You have some of the finest DC Romance books I've ever seen!! Congrats on accumulating such a collection of hard-to-find books especially in HG. EC ed
Outstanding stuff, gentlemen... Myself...I'm partial to the chick-motorcycle combo...a few of these might be pushing the Silver-Bronze threshold, but I'd say they're close enough to squeeze in here....
