Unnecessary tape

One of the boardies said there's a solvent that easily safely removes tape.

Solvent is risky, could leave stains, and hard to use on the spine while cover is attached.

Get a micro spatula from the art store, and slowly lift a corner of the tape in the white area, and see if it comes up easy. If that works then try the color side but go slow, and if you see color lifting, stop.

I think UNDO is what KAV is referring to, I would try some on a bronze cover you don't care about first, and see what I mean about staining, which is a common side affect on stuff older than 85ish, and especially so on mid to low grade.

Hope that helps. :)

Thank you for the tips, I slowly tried to remove the tape from the back cover but the tape left a staining and the sticky residue left behind. So I am going to leave this one alone unfortunately :( . I sold it on to a Ghost Rider lover so they will give it the appropriate palliative care.
