Digital Copy Sticker

3 posts in this topic

Hi All,

I looked around before creating a thread but could not find the answer.

Does anyone know what CGC's ruling is on the Digital Copy tear off being removed out of a modern book. Not the sticker itself being removed as that would damage the page but if the top cover is removed and was redeemed does this downgrade the book in anyway? I'm wondering if doing so costs you points in grading if no damage was done to the page in removal or is this going to be like the Marvel Value Stamp and cost you.

If anyone knows how this effects grading it would be appreciated.

Hi,

If it is completely peeled off it will be noted in the label text as digital code label removed and it will not get a qualified label and will not affect grade. If it is still on or partial peeled back we won't say anything and it won't affect the grade
