Canadian Insurance

Hi All I have decided to insure my Gold/Silver Age Collection (replacement value approx. $20 grand) My general insurance company(home auto) knows nothing about comic books.

Any companies and/or policies in Canada you can suggest ? Thanks in advance.

I looked in to this before, and there are very few insurers in Canada who will take on insurance for collectables such as comics. I believe this was the group that offered the most comprehensive programs for collectables.

 

There may be others since I did my research a number of years ago.

Hugh Wood will cover all of Canada and the territories except Quebec.

For insurance in Quebec, Ambri Assuarnce Inc will do it.

If the above does not go anywhere, contact a broker. I had to do it that way.
