Adam Wingard is THE best new young director I've seen in a long long time. This show will be successful due to him, not Kirkman's story IMO. If you haven't seen any of his films, I'd suggest you do so!!

Outcast having a panel at NYCC

New Outcast Images And NYCC Panel Information Released

 

inemax has released three new images from the premiere of Outcast, along with information about the show’s panel at New York Comic-Con.

 

The panel will take place on Saturday, Oct. 10:

 

"The OUTCAST panel in Room 1A06 at 1:30 p.m. will be moderated by Jon Glaser (HBO’s “Girls”). The panel will include creator and executive producer Robert Kirkman, executive producer and showrunner Chris Black and lead actor Patrick Fugit (Kyle Barnes)."

Scott Porter Cast In Outcast

 

Actor and HeroClix unboxer Scott Porter has joined the cast of Outcast on Cinemax, Deadline reports. Known for roles on Friday Night Lights and Heart of Dixie, Porter will act opposite series stars Patrick Fugit and Philip Glenister.

 

Porter will play Donnie Hamel, described as “an amiable and engaging type” and “a former jock.” Hamel’s work bring him back to his home of Rome, West Virginia, where a runs into a Megan Holter and starts to reveal his dark side.

I read vol 1 of Outcast and it was I liked it the least of Kirkman's creator-owned books. WD and Invincible were far, far better. I even liked Thief of Thieves more.

That was awesome!

 

When you hear something was disgusting and then you go to watch it and it is a boy staring at a roach…you ask yourself "what is going to be disgusting?"

 

It is the simple fact that there is a roach?

 

Is the roach going to do something?

 

Is something going to happen to the boy?

 

And then you see what happens…and it wasn't expected at all. Fantastic!
